"Transformed students taking Jesus to every teenager, anywhere, by all means!" We envision a generation of young people who know Christ, grow in their faith, and go to serve their schools, communities, and the world.
School For Jesus Ministry was founded by Pastor Johnstone Kioko, whose journey to faith is a powerful testament to redemption and transformation. Born into a Christian family as the eldest child, Pastor Kioko took on responsibility early. Struggling to support his siblings and establish himself, the pressure led him to a life of challenges. Yet, amidst the chaos, God had other plans for him.
It was through a high school friend that Kioko encountered Christ, marking a turning point in his life. No longer seeking solace in destructive habits, he began a new journey—one filled with hope and a mission to serve. He immersed himself in high school evangelism, attending various missions and witnessing firsthand the unique struggles and spiritual hunger of students.
In those early days, Pastor Kioko recognized a vital need: students faced unique challenges that required a tailored approach. The vision for School For Jesus Ministry was born—a ministry designed to reach young people in high schools, colleges, and beyond. Without hesitation, he shared his dream with a small group of friends who caught the vision, and together, they set out to mentor and guide young souls toward Christ.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to make disciples of all nations, beginning with the students in our local schools and colleges. We are committed to:
Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that is relevant and accessible to young people. We believe in meeting students where they are—whether in classrooms, cafeterias, sports fields, or online—and inviting them into a relationship with Christ.
Helping students grow in their faith through Bible studies, small groups, mentorship, and service opportunities. We focus on nurturing a deep, personal relationship with God, encouraging students to explore Scripture, ask tough questions, and develop a faith that is their own.
Encouraging students to live out their faith through acts of love and service. We organize community outreach programs, mission trips, and volunteer opportunities that allow students to put their faith into action and make a tangible difference in their communities.
We believe in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the foundation of our faith. He is the Son of God, our Savior, and the only way to salvation.
We uphold the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our ultimate guide for faith and practice.
We believe in the importance of fellowship and building strong, supportive communities of faith. We are called to live in unity, love, and fellowship.
We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, spreading His message of love and salvation to the world. We exist to make disciples of all nations.
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works but given freely to those who repent and believe.
We believe in the global body of Christ, made up of all believers who confess Jesus as Lord. We are called to live in unity, love, and fellowship.
We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ to earth. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
Today's students face unprecedented challenges and pressures. In a world filled with noise and distractions, we offer a space where young people can encounter the living God, discover their true identity in Christ, and find purpose.
By equipping students with a strong foundation of faith, we empower them to become leaders and change-makers in their communities and beyond. We believe that by investing in students' spiritual lives, we are not only shaping their futures but also impacting families, communities, and the world for Christ.
Our mission extends beyond Sunday services - we are committed to creating environments where students can grow in their relationship with God, connect with peers who share their faith, and develop the character and leadership skills needed to make a positive difference in the world.
